Resident in London and Brighton, Patrick has had an interest in creating images since he was eight when he received three cameras on his birthday from family members who assumedly did not communicate too well.

He likes to create images with a dramatic, theatrical, enigmatic or ethereal quality.

His images may also contain a narrative or have an exploratory nature at various instants combining, to differing degrees, elements of eroticism or metaphor.

Some of his created images should not be viewed with a literal eye but should be regarded purely as metaphor, others exist purely because he likes the combination of colours or textures derived from the photographic process and the actual image contained is of reduced consequence.

Patrick likes to create unexpected, mysterious, inexplicable or sculptural depictions of the human form and images incorporating dance inspired poses transposed to an out of context setting. Dance and the human form in images are of particular interest to him.

Whilst Patrick likes a narrative to be apparent in some of his images; he additionally hopes some will present a significant challenge to interpretation.

Patrick likes to produce images in a variety of media including digital, Polaroid, expired Polaroid, 35mm and occasionally larger formats, the latter most notably in collaboration. He also likes where appropriate to explore the possibilities of combining media.
